Pjältån Hatchet

The Pjältån is a compact, well-balanced hatchet designed for everyday outdoor tasks. As the smallest axe in the Hults Bruk Yankee-pattern range, it combines portability and control with enough power for the work that comes with life outdoors. Easy to carry and comfortable to use with one hand, the Pjältån is well suited to preparing kindling, light chopping and general tasks around camp, at the cabin or by the woodpile. Its manageable size and balanced feel make it approachable for less experienced users while remaining a capable tool for anyone looking for a compact outdoor axe. The Yankee-pattern head features a grind for good edge durability and clean release from the wood, making the Pjältån a reliable choice for repeated chopping and everyday outdoor use. The head is hand-forged at Hults Bruk and hand-sharpened before being fitted to its American hickory handle. Small, capable and easy to bring along, the Pjältån is a natural companion for camp life and outdoor adventures.
